BLUEGRASS UNDERGROUND Season 5 on PBS

All-new episodes of the award-winning concert series BLUEGRASS UNDERGROUND set to air on PBS this fall

Producers of the acclaimed PBS music event series, BLUEGRASS UNDERGROUND, announced Season Five will include 12 all-new episodes of this unique, musical adventure. The concert series is taped live in the world-famous Volcano Room at Cumberland Caverns 333-feet underground.

The first episode of Season Five features Leftover Salmon.

BLUEGRASS UNDERGROUND Season 5 artists include: Amos Lee, Robert Earl Keen, Leeann Womack, Hot Rize, Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn, Jerry Douglas and The Earls Of Leicester, Leftover Salmon, Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth, The Quebe Sisters, and Chattam County Line.

“BLUEGRASS UNDERGROUND is immersive musical television in a singular setting unlike anything you’ve seen before and PBS is proud and excited to continue to offer this series across a full spectrum of American and Americana music,” says Donald Thoms, Vice President of General Audience Programming for PBS.
