The Allman Betts Band Rocks Cumberland Caverns Live

The Allman Betts Band with Special Guest Stoll Vaughan

After a successful year touring as The Devon Allman Project with special guest Duane Betts – the sons of Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts have joined forces to form The Allman Betts Band. They have kicked off 2019 with a new Allman Betts Band album and a worldwide tour that will feature new music, songs from their solo projects and classic Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman tunes in honor of the 50th Anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band.

The Allman Betts Band took the stage 333′ below Sunday afternoon to a sold-out crowd of fans from all across the country. The iconic Volcano Room was transformed by their incredible light show as sweet Southern Rock sounds filled the venue.

The band played songs from their new album “Down to the River” and even covered some unexpected classics such as Prince’s “Purple Rain.”  Fans were incredibly excited to hear The Allman Betts Band’s version and they were not disappointed! Click below to hear this new twist on an old favorite.

The light show that played behind the band during the concert painted the rocks and overhang with the most amazing displays of color that transformed with the music. The crowd hung on every lyric and note and was mesmerized by the talent that makes up this band whose roots run deep within the music industry.
