Live Music Returned To The World Famous Volcano Room With Front Country & Jon Stickley Trio

Front Country & Jon Stickley Trio Opened The New Cumberland Caverns Live Concert Series On Feb. 3

The original musical adventure 333 feet below returned for the New Cumberland Caverns Live series! On February 3, Cumberland Caverns welcomed Front Country and Jon Stickley Trio in the World Famous Volcano Room. It was an incredible start to the 2018 concert season!

Front Country

Front Country hails from the west coast and was recently named one of the “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know” in Rolling Stone Magazine. Lead singer Melody Walker won best female vocalist in 2016’s International Bluegrass Music Association “Momentum Awards” for up-and-coming acts. She also wrote eight of the 12 songs on Front Country’s current album, Other Love Songs.

Jon Stickley Trio

“I am extremely excited to play the Cumberland Caverns… I’ll never forget visiting there years ago. You walk into a hole in the ground, down a long, winding cavernous hallway of stone amongst stalactites, stalagmites, and all the other strange underground oddities and mysterious wonders. Just when you think you’ve gone too far, the cave opens up into an enormous, hidden amphitheater with sound like you’ve never heard before. When we started the Trio, it was one of the first venues on our bucket list, and I absolutely cannot wait to hear our music bounce off the rocks and ring through the caves!”
