Ultimate Road Rally Makes a Pit Stop at Cumberland Caverns
McLarens, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris, oh my! The Ultimate Road Rally took to the highway this weekend on their annual ride to raise money for charity. The Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation was the recipient of this year’s generous $100K+ donation made by the group.

30 exotic sports car enthusiasts are invited each year to participate in this three-day event which starts in Chicago. The trip, which crosses multiple states, stops at local attractions and tourist destinations where the groups compete in a series of scavenger hunts and competitions to gain points.
Cumberland Caverns was honored to be one of the stops along their route. Rally participants were taken on an abbreviated cave tour, treated to BBQ sliders for lunch, and had a live mini-concert 333′ underground in the Volcano Room by musician Greg Willis. Guests of the cave were treated to a rare opportunity to see many fabulous luxury sports cars in one location and Middle Tennessee was abuzz as news of the caravan spread across the area.
Thank you, Ultimate Road Rally, for touring our great state and for the generous contribution to the Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation.
