New York Times – Press Play features, Robert Earl Keen, Happy Prisoner
Robert Earl Keen is one of many amazing artists scheduled to perform live from the Volcano Room during Bluegrass Underground Season 5 PBS filming.
Keen’s new album, “Happy Prisoner,” finds itself featured in the New York Times Press Play, just days before the album is released on February 10, 2015.
As described by the New York Times, Press Play is,
“The place where New York Times debuts noteworthy new music.”
Each week you’ll find brand, exclusive music available to stream online ahead of the album’s release. The album, “Happy Prisoner,” features duets with Lyle Lovett and Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks and showcases both new and old bluegrass standards.
